E komo mai! WELCOME!

Come as friends, leave as FAMILY!

Welcome to our second annual Na Hoa Aloha Volleyball Invitational!!  We are excited to host you, your team, friends, family, and allies at a new location, filled with volleyball history and on a  campus dedicated to tradition built on the value and strengths of its programs.  On December 8-9, 2018 we will be hosting the tournament in the historic Klum Gym on the campus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  The gym was named after Otto Klum (1875-1944), a legendary UH Football coach from 1921-1939.  He was the first coach to take his team to the mainland and it was under the Klum era (1922-23) that the football team was named the "Rainbows".  They have since changed the football team to be the Rainbow Warriors but all women sports on the campus are known as the Rainbow Wahine's.  The Rainbow Wahine Volleyball Program remains a large source of financial income for the University of Hawaii athletic department, notwithstanding even what football and men's basketball teams generates.

The tournament is a NAGVA sanctioned event and will offer the following divisions: A3 / BB / B.  Please visit www.nagva.org to register your team for the tournament.  If you are a player that will be available and currently do not have a team, please contact Dale Agbayani @ vicepresident@pgvc.org.  Be sure to include your phone number, level of play, any references, and whether you have any certifications.  We will do our best to find you a team but make no promises.

If you're new to the tournament, don't be shy and come and introduce yourself to us...better yet, JOIN US for our "Secret Beach Excursion" where we will enjoy the land, sea, and each other on a private beach that will include a round trip bus ride, lunch, complimentary drinks (with drink tickets), SUP, kayaks, canoes, beach volleyball and a lot more!  Visit our "Enjoying your time in Hawaii"  page for more info on how to sign up.  You can also follow this link : http://nagva808.weebly.com/our-events.html

We hope that you're able to make it to our tournament and play in a building that is part of a program that has won 4 National Championships, 10 straight conference tournaments, beating out New Mexico State the last 4 years, and has made 28 NCAA post season appearances out of 29, only missing the 1992 NCAA tournament.  The Rainbow Wahine Volleyball Program has produced Olympians, All-Americans, and two individuals named AVCA Player of the Year.  Over the past 14 years, the program has led the nation in attendance averaging over 7,000 fans per match!
